The Next Big Thing blog hops from one blog to the next blog link for more a wealth of new and exciting books. Some are still being written, some are just being released. Either way, for fiction lovers . . . it’s a treasure and I’d like to thank Marva Dasef for tagging me to participate.
The answer to my ten questions are set out below. Happy reading.
What is the working title of your book?
Dragon Ice. This the third novel in my Dragon trilogy.
Basically I love dragons and this one has followed on from the previous two. Originally it was intended to be only the first book, but the other two pleaded to be written.
This trilogy is fantasy for young adults. Fantasy is my favorite genre - adult, young adult or middle grade. Love them all.
Neisha looks like India Eisley while English actor William Moseley reminds me of Tane. I have no idea what these actors are like, but their photos are just as I imagined my characters to be.
Brought together in their dreams, Tane and Neisha must escape the silver dragons to fulfill their hopes for the future.
Published by an ebook publisher - Desert Breeze Publishing.
I'm still writing it so by the time I've finished, it will be three months then another month of editing.
I'd love to be able to say Anne McCaffrey but hesitate to put myself on the same level as this magnificent author. My book revolves around the dragons but they are unique to their environment.
The previous two novels in this trilogy were the main inspiration for the third novel. It kept niggling at me until I knew I had to write it.
Dragon Ice is set on an alternate world and the dragons have their own culture and way of life.

Hi, Sue. Sounds like an interesting book. Best wishes with it.
I loved Dragon Flame and Dragon Clans, so I'm very much looking forward to Dragon Ice.
Thanks for being one of my Hopkins, Sue.
Another of Marva's Hipkins chiming in here. I know the age group you are targeting is fascinated with dragons. *whispers*/shhh, I am too.
This sounds like a lovely trilogy for the group.
Good luck with the sales, and that third book should be a shoo-in when it is out.
I have always loved stories featuring dragons, and I love the idea of a society of dragons spinning around their own culture! It sounds like you have found a wonderful niche.
Thank you ladies for your wonderful comments. Working hard on Dragon Ice and thanks for inviting me to take part in the Next Big Thing, Marva
